We've supposedly bid £3.9m for Robert Beric. Should Rapid not qualify for the champions league tonight, then this one could happen.

I hope so they need goals. I think if they were scoring they would be very hard to beat they look a lot better at the back and in midfield just lack the goals. The shot stats on the club website is amazing.

Rapid are out of the champions league so deal may still be possible. Personally I think 4 mil on another strong physical striker is a gamble, surely that money could go on a pacy striker to play off Sa (who has impressed me) or Pog. Nakhi Wells springs to mind

Yeah Rapid are out. Beric would prefer to go to St Etienne, however they haven't offered anywhere near enough for Rapid to accept. Reading aren't out of the race yet.

My latest on this is that if St Etienne win tonight, and qualify for the Europa league, then Beric will join them. Should they lose then Reading will be confident they can sign Beric. Unfortunately it is highly likely that St Etienne will win. Their fans are confident that Beric will sign for them.

Shame that. Not long left to sort this lack of goals out but with McCleary back and hurtado not far off its a matter of time till sa starts scoring.
