Alex Pearce has signed for Derby on a 3 year deal. Any updates on McShane ed?

Cheers ed. He won't choose Reading then. Any updates on the keeper department?

{Ed001's Note - you never know, depends on the offer. He might be thinking more about playing time than anything else at his age.

I haven't anything new on a keeper related to Reading.}

Ok cheers ed, has the meeting taken place between Clarke and the owners about the budget?

{Ed001's Note - I believe they met pretty much straight after the end of the season to discuss the summer business. They do pretty regular phone conversations and meetings throughout the year anyway, weekly at minimum, though not always directly with the owners.}

{Ed001's Note - not at the moment, it is early yet though, lots of teams are still trying to decide which players to move on and which to move for. That can change things dramatically when players become available.}

Yeah I heard that not sure what to think of it. He is a good keeper but makes a lot of mistakes. I'd say we need 2GKs 1leftback possibly 1 right back 1 centreback 1 left winger 1 centre mid and 2 strikers so that's 9 players( got no chance ). There will
be a few leaving as well tho. I'd say
blackman, Taylor, akpan, robson-kanu, cox possibley Kelly and karacan. A lot to do.
